Our breeding policy We strive to produce true Hungarian Vizslas who have not only good looks but good health and the correct working ability, with the balance of temperament that makes them suitable for working, showing and family pets. We are almost unique as one of the only kennels in the UK who have imported well researched bloodlines from some of the top kennels in Hungary and the USA meaning we can produce puppies with low inbreeding and who are fit for purpose! We only breed from Helath tested parents and rear our litters lavishly! Full details of our breeding policy can be read here Our Puppies We are members of the Kennel club accredited breeders scheme and comply with their recommendations in addition to our own strict breeding policy.. Gunfield puppies leave for thier new homes at 8-9 weeks of age only after under going a vet check, temperament test and having been vaccinated and microchippedWe only have a litter when we are confident we have suitable homes waiting for the pups, we breed the maximum of four litters in any calendar year due to this our puppies are always reserved before they are born so should you wish to own a Gunfield puppy you should expect to wait between six and twelve months for the correct puppy for your family Export
You will find Vizslas of our breeding all over Europe and as far a field as Newzealand, Bermuda and the USA . We are happy to export to countries with a good standard of welfare but importers must supply references. Gunfield puppies sold in the UK carry an export restriction on their pedigree to safe guard them against being exported without our prior knowledge.
Breeding All Gunfield Vizslas carry a breeding restriction on their pedigree to safe guard our bred line and ensure quality ,temperament and have health clearance before a Gunfield off spring is bred. Should you wish to breed in the future it is important that you make us aware of this before joining our waiting list as this will effect the choice of puppy for yourselves. Before being bred your dog or bitch must have obtained two years of age, have been hip scored and have been given an acceptable score. We strongly advise the dog or bitch is also elbow scored and eye tested. Please refer to our sales agrement
